“Affordable, easy to use, no install. I have a lot of customers who don’t have the rights to perform installs on their machines, so the fact that it doesn’t install to the machine is a huge plus.”

Beth, Illinois

“Very easy method for controlling another PC. Great for helping people that are not familiar at all with computers.”

Johan, California

“Lightweight, easy to use instructions, excellent support available when required, flexible billing plans.”

Clifford, Pennsylvania

The Technology

Copilot® uses Transport Layer Securty 1.2 (commonly known as SSL) to encrypt connections and ensure session integrity. No session data is ever stored by Copilot. The only thing we store is metadata necessary for billing and troubleshooting. All payment data is stored in an industry-leading, PCI compliant vault. And all passwords are stored salted and hashed, never in the clear.

Copilot® makes outbound connections on both sides of the session. This ensures we can make the connection reliably, without having to deal with firewalls, routers, NATs, proxies, or anything else that might get in the way of the connection.

The "helper" or "viewer" side of the connection runs in your web browser, meaning you can use it from Windows, Mac, Linux, or even a mobile device. The "host" side runs on Windows or Mac. Every operating system can connect to any other operating system.
